Michael Pachos

Michael Pachos serves as the Head of East Coast and Managing Director at Samsung Ventures America since September 2009, with previous roles including Managing Director and Sr. Investment Director in Seoul and Silicon Valley. Pachos is currently an investor at OTI Lumionics, Jaguar Gene Therapy, Plume Design, Inc., Light Field Lab, Inc., and DeepMotion. Additionally, Pachos holds board member positions at VIZION and Welldoc, and serves as an advisory board member for Pangaea Ventures while being a Board of Directors Observer for Nanosys. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School and a BS in Computer Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
