David Starr has extensive experience in software development, technical training, and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Technical and Practices Instructor at Pluralsight since December 2008, David has contributed significantly to the development of the content delivery platform and created over 20 courses on software development practices. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Microsoft, including Principal Software Engineer and Senior Program Manager, focusing on system design and Agile tooling. As Director of Technical Learning at GoDaddy, David managed training programs emphasizing agile engineering and product development. David also founded Elegant Code Solutions, aimed at enhancing workplace agility and craftsmanship. With a background as Chief Software Architect at Healthwise and earlier roles in software development and military service, David has been recognized as a six-time Microsoft MVP for expertise in technology communities.
