Gene Gotimer

Gene Gotimer is a seasoned DevOps Engineer currently employed at Praeses since April 2023, supporting government projects and the development of Rook, a data-visualization tool for the US Air Force. As an instructor at Pluralsight, Gene is building and delivering courses on Terraform Fundamentals and Introduction to DevSecOps. Previously, Gene served as a DevSecOps Senior Engineer at Steampunk, Inc., focusing on security special projects for DHS ICE. With a robust background as a Principal Consultant at Coveros and as a Principal Systems Architect at Command Information, Gene has led significant projects including the Protect My Child Registry and developed compliance tracking tools at Cybertrust. Gene's extensive career demonstrates expertise in software engineering and systems architecture, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute.
