Shane Whelan is an experienced educator and game development professional, currently serving as a freelance tutor at Pluralsight since September 2014, specializing in online training resources for the Unity Game Engine. As a Game Design Higher National Diploma teacher and coordinator at Ballyfermot College of Further Education since 2003, Shane has taught various modules with a focus on 3D Modeling, Animation, Game Design, and 2D artwork. Shane co-founded Sneaky Vegetables, a game development company aimed at helping children learn drawing skills through games, and has previously held roles such as Unit Writer for Edexcel & Pearson UK, Graphic Artist at Kapooki, 3D Artist at SoftCo, and Graphic Designer at Riverdeep Interactive Learning.
