Sam Goldsmith

Sam Goldsmith PhD has extensive experience in technology transfer and commercialisation within the biomedical field. Notable roles include Business Manager at LifeArc, where Sam facilitated the commercialisation of academic research, and University Liaison Manager at Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, focusing on collaborations and investment propositions. Sam's expertise also encompasses leading the Commercialisation of Research programme, managing intellectual property, and advancing academic research into marketable innovations at various institutions. Educational credentials include a PhD in Stem Cell Biology and Developmental Genetics from UCL and managerial finance training from the London School of Economics. Currently, Sam serves as a Board Observer at Plurify and a non-executive director at Spliceor while contributing to academia as a guest lecturer at the University of Sheffield.
