Umar Farook

Umar Farook is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Finance and Executive Business Partner at PLUS ES since November 2022. With a rich background spanning over two decades, Umar has held key finance leadership positions including Director of Finance (Acting) at the Western Parkland City Authority and Group Financial Controller roles at both Sydney Motorway Corporation and NorthWestern Roads Group. Previous experience also includes significant positions at WorleyParsons, Asciano Limited, and KAZ Group, showcasing expertise in financial management, business partnering, compliance, budgeting, and systems enhancement. Umar holds an MBA from the Australian Institute of Management and additional qualifications in Tax and Company Law from Macquarie University.
