Historically, the markets only saw nature as an extractive commodity. But now a new market for "living nature" is underway. This new nature market creates revenues for local communities from the ecosystem services of nature - flora and fauna, blue and green. The ecosystem services of living nature have a market price for carbon sequestration, water filtration, rainfall, pollination, soil formation food security, coastal protection and more. Living nature is now being recognized and valued as "infrastructure" underpinning the global economy.

+Nature is a nonprofit arm of Plastic Ocean Project, dedicated to raising philanthropic seed capital to fund the early stages of nature-based projects and accelerate the development of this new nature-positive economy. Communities often lack the capital needed to assess feasibility, design, and validate the projects to attract investors. +Nature fills that gap. Partnering with Blue Green Future, a pioneering company focused on the regeneration of flora and fauna, we raise seed funding for the development of methodologies measuring the ecosystem benefits of restoring healthy populations of fauna across flora and landscapes.
