Sabum Byun

Sabum Byun has extensive experience in design and leadership, currently serving as an advisor at Plus X since March 2024. Previously, Sabum Byun was the Chief Design Officer at wethecore from September 2020 to March 2023 and co-founded Plus X, where the role of Co-Founder and Creative Director was held from July 2010 to September 2020, specializing in UI/UX direction. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at NAVER Corp as the Marketing/Promotion Design Team Leader from July 2006 to July 2010 and as a Web/Motion Designer at Designfever from July 2005 to July 2006. Sabum Byun also co-founded DesignNewie, contributing to its establishment from January 2004 to July 2005. Educationally, Sabum Byun earned a degree in Multimedia Design from Chungkang College of Cultural Industries between 1999 and 2004.
