Anthony Henry has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to present. Anthony started their career as an Electronic Tech at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and later worked as a Project Manager at Project Performance Corporation. Anthony then transitioned into roles at Dell, where they served as a Disaster Recovery Manager and managed the Disaster Recovery team for the United States Coast Guard Datacenter. Anthony also provided training, testing, and document support for systems at the USCG Operation System Center.
Following their tenure at Dell, Anthony worked as a Disaster Recovery Consultant at TechLink Resources, Inc and as a Contingency/Capacity Planner at Verizon Business. Anthony then joined Verizon Wireless as a Media System Administrator and later as a Linux System Administrator.
In 2017, Anthony became a Data Center Manager at Credence Management Solutions, LLC, before moving on to Mountain State Software Solutions (MS³) as a DevOps Specialist. At MS³, they supported the operations side of internal applications and maintained corporate headquarters servers and infrastructure.
Anthony's most recent work experience includes a role as a Data Center Tech Lead at InMotion Hosting, where they managed the data center build-out of a new cloud hosting product and provided guidance in data center and ITIL processes. Anthony is currently working as a Cloud Administrator at Plus3 IT Systems, where they are responsible for system and data administration for a Splunk Enterprise deployment in a Microsoft Azure RedHat environment. Anthony uses Terraform and Azure DevOps for deployment and maintenance tasks and maintains documentation on Splunk and RedHat tasks.
Anthony Henry completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the West Virginia Institute of Technology, which took place from 1991 to 1994. Anthony then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, attending from 2003 to 2004.
In addition to their formal education, Anthony has obtained several certifications. Anthony received the Splunk Core Certified User, Splunk Enterprise Cluster Administration, and Troubleshooting Splunk Enterprise certifications from Splunk in June 2022. Prior to that, they acquired the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in July 2021. Anthony also holds the ITIL Foundation Level certification from ITIL Certified, achieved in March 2010. Furthermore, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification in January 2017 and the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification in January 2018.
