Bharathi Ram has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2006, Bharathi worked as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where they were involved in developing an online messaging forum using HTML and J2EE. They also recorded the entire software development life cycle and implemented automated testing.

In 2009, Bharathi joined Trackle as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing a web service that tracked personalized information. Additionally, they worked as an iPhone Application Developer, creating applications for Trackle and Live Audience using Objective-C and XCode.

Moving on, Bharathi joined Google in 2010 as a Software Engineer and worked on Like.com, a visual search engine. They designed web pages using Java, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP.

In 2010, Bharathi also worked at PriceGrabber.com as a Senior Software Engineer, where they implemented backend features and developed XML APIs for various third-party partners.

From 2015 to 2020, Bharathi worked at McGraw-Hill Education as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead. In this role, they designed and developed web applications, designed microservice architectures using AWS, and played a key role in transitioning from a monolith to microservice architecture.

Most recently, Bharathi joined Pluto TV in 2020 as a Senior Backend Engineer. They quickly progressed to Lead Engineer, then to Engineering Manager, and currently hold the position of Senior Engineering Manager.

Bharathi Ram obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University in 2006. In 2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2008. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the "Shaping up with AngularJS" certification from Code School in April 2015. Bharathi also earned the "Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019. Their most recent certification, obtained in October 2022, is the "Dash Speaker 2022 - Deploying OpenTelemetry Organizationally" certification from Datadog.
