Ken Shin is a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Pluto TV, where they lead the design, development, and delivery of data-driven analytical solutions. Ken has experience in extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources and translating business requirements into actionable insights. Prior to Pluto TV, Ken worked as a CRM Data Analytics Manager at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, where they provided analyses and insights to drive CRM strategy. Ken also implemented data visualization and modeling techniques to improve data literacy across teams. Earlier in their career, Ken worked as a Client Success Analyst at MarketDial, a Systems/Data Analyst at Skechers, an Email Marketing Analyst at Torrid, and a Data/Operation Analyst at Crocs, Inc.
Ken Shin is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Computational Data Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a program they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from UCLA, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Ken Shin has also earned certifications in Alteryx Designer Core from Alteryx in August 2018 and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2016.
