Marcelo Diniz

Marcelo Diniz has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Marcelo is currently working as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Pluto TV, where they focus on backend development using Node.js, MongoDB with Mongoose, and Express. Marcelo also works on the frontend using CanJS and other technologies.

Before joining Pluto TV, Marcelo was a Senior Frontend Engineer at StackState. During their time there, they played a pivotal role in improving the developer experience by introducing build tools like Webpack. Marcelo also led the frontend migration efforts from AngularJS to React with Redux and TypeScript, and increased code coverage with automated tests.

Prior to StackState, Marcelo worked as a Software Engineer at Xlung, where they collaborated with physicians and physiotherapists to develop an online simulator for mechanical ventilation. Marcelo used Scala, vanilla JavaScript, and HTML5 for this project.

Marcelo also gained experience as a Technical Leader at Instituto Atlântico, where they led a team in the development of a back-end using MongoDB, Redis, Scala, and Akka, as well as a simple front-end with HTML5 and JavaScript. Marcelo also presented the project results to an HP Labs representative.

Additionally, Marcelo has held positions at Casa Magalhães, Codeminer42, Triadworks, CPQi IT Offshore Solutions, Aptools, and LSD, where they contributed to various software development projects and acquired diverse skills in Java, HTML5, and JavaScript.
