Steve Riedl

Steve Riedl has a wide range of experience in the technology and media industries. Steve is currently a Member of the NATAS Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards Committee since February 2021. Steve also holds the position of Senior Product Architect, Advertising Integration at Pluto TV starting from October 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Steve Riedl was the Owner of SER Consulting LLC since March 2011. Steve was also a Partner, Founder, and CTO at Superior Swim Timing LLC, where they developed an innovative swim timing system and expanded the product portfolio.

Steve Riedl's previous positions include Senior Director, Digital TV at WarnerMedia, where they served as an end-to-end product manager for TV Everywhere simulcast. Steve also worked as the Director of Technology, OCTO at Canoe Ventures, where they defined the overall Canoe architecture and oversaw standards activities.

Before that, Steve Riedl was a Principal Architect at Time Warner Cable, representing the company in the cross-MSO McKinsey study on advanced advertising and architecting TWC components for Project Canoe. Steve also worked at nCube as the Director of Engineering and at Skyconnect as a Manager of Hardware Development.

Steve'scareer started at Digital Equipment Corporation, where they achieved the role of Principal Engineer and led the design and implementation of the Technical Emmy award-winning Digital Ad-Insertion system.

Throughout their career, Steve Riedl has demonstrated expertise in product management, architecture, technology development, and team leadership.

Steve Riedl completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from Clarkson College of Technology (which later became Clarkson University) from 1980 to 1983. Following this, they pursued further education, earning a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University between 1984 and 1986. Additionally, Steve holds a certification as an N2BB Certified BMS Engineer, although details regarding the institution and date of attainment are unavailable.
