Val Maylad

Val Maylad has extensive work experience in various roles within the media and entertainment industry. They started their career in 2004 as a Manager of Sales Planning and Analysis at Warner Music Group, where they worked until 2007. Val then joined EMI Music as a Digital Business Analyst in 2007.

In 2009, Val moved to SDI Media as a Digital Media Technician and worked there until 2010. They then joined Encompass Digital Media, Inc. as a Media Specialist and later became a Manager of IPTV/VOD Digital Media Services in 2011.

Val joined Sony New Media Solutions in 2011 and held the positions of Operations Manager from 2011 to 2013 and Production Manager from 2013 to 2018.

In 2018, Val joined Deluxe Entertainment Services Group as a Senior Technical Product Manager, overseeing Platform Operations until 2020.

Currently, Val works at Pluto TV, where they started as a Product Manager in 2020. They then advanced to the role of Senior Product Manager in 2021 and currently hold the position of Lead Product Manager in the Content Systems department.

Val Maylad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University. Additionally, they have pursued their interest in TV/Film Editing at Video Symphony. Val has obtained certifications such as Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2022 and Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist in March 2021.
