Marjan A.

Marjan A. has a diverse work experience starting in 2014 with IBM as a Development Technical Support. They then worked as a Web Application Developer at Evertz in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at IBM iX as a Frontend Engineer, where they contributed to various projects for clients such as Telus, Bell, and BMO. Afterward, Marjan joined FleetOps as a Frontend Architect, where they demonstrated skills in React, Python, and AWS services to reduce company expenses and increase truck drivers' productivity. In 2020, they founded and served as the CEO of Essential Massager, successfully launching an e-commerce business and achieving impressive revenue milestones. From 2020 to 2021, Marjan worked at Vena Solutions as a Senior Software Developer. They then joined Barley as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a platform for managing compensation processes. Most recently, in 2021, Marjan joined Elemy as a Staff Software Engineer before moving to their current role at Pluto, also as a Staff Software Engineer.

Marjan A. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, which they attended from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained an Engineering Business Certificate from the University of Toronto in December 2015. In November 2017, Marjan A. became an IBM Design Thinking Practitioner after completing a certification program with IBM. Furthermore, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon in April 2019.
