Dhinakar Baskaran

Dhinakar Baskaran has a diverse work experience in procurement and supply management. Dhinakar is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Procurement at PLZ Corp since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Danaher Corporation as the Director of Global Supply Management from June 2015 to September 2021, where they led a strategic sourcing team for direct materials across various commodities. Before joining Danaher, they held multiple roles at Stanley Black & Decker, including Director of Global Supply Management from June 2013 to June 2015, Senior Manager of Advanced Sourcing from October 2011 to January 2014, New Products Sourcing Manager from February 2010 to September 2011, Advanced Sourcing Manager from July 2007 to February 2010, and Senior New Products Sourcing Specialist from September 2006 to June 2007. Dhinakar also worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker from February 2001 to February 2004. Throughout their career, Dhinakar has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of sourcing, cost management, risk assessment, supplier management, and team leadership.

Dhinakar Baskaran holds an MBA in Marketing from Loyola University Maryland (2001-2003) and completed the Technology, Operations and Business Education Program at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business (2001). Dhinakar also obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (1997-1999). Dhinakar received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras and attended Alpha Matriculation.
