Julia Sakalus

Julia Sakalus is a seasoned UX Lead and UX Designer at pMD since October 2021, with prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer at De-Ice and Head Mechanic at Tufts Bikes. A mechanical engineering graduate from Tufts University, Julia has demonstrated strong leadership skills by training new mechanics and managing service operations. Julia has also excelled in research, notably developing a soft robotics exoskeleton, and held various roles in engineering internships, where Julia contributed to projects involving control systems for aircraft components and the design of surveying equipment. Julia further enhanced design skills through UX Academy training at Designlab. Julia's diverse background combines engineering expertise with user experience design, enhanced by an international education.
