Jeff Tobin

Jeff Tobin is the Founder and Managing Partner of AscendX Group, where they focus on value creation and exit strategies for lower-middle-market businesses. With 18 years in private equity and 16 years as a business operator, they have chaired or served on 16 boards and collaborated with firms like The Riverside Company and Millpond Equity Partners. As a proven operator and investor, Jeff has helped companies achieve significant financial growth while empowering leadership teams to enact sustainable performance. Currently, they invest in early-stage entrepreneurs at North Coast Ventures and serve on the boards of PMG Learning Solutions and Thrivable, among other roles. Jeff holds an MBA and a BS from Vanderbilt University, where they also earned another MBA in Accounting and Finance.
