Stephen Matney

Stephen Matney, PMP, has extensive experience in environmental management and project oversight, currently serving as General Manager at Agviq LLC since 2017. Matney is also the President of the PMI Hampton Roads Chapter, having assumed the role in 2016 after serving as Vice President of Programs. With a career spanning over three decades, previous positions include Project Manager at AGVIQ Environmental Services, Environmental Services Director/Project Manager at W.L. Black & Associates, and Technical Operations Manager/Project Manager at IMS Environmental. Matney is a Certified Environmental Manager and holds recognized certifications pertinent to environmental investigation and remediation. Education includes studies at Old Dominion University and Tidewater Community College.
