Paresh Kumar

Paresh Kumar, PMP®, currently serves as the Vice-President of Programs and Event Coordinator at the PMI Northern Alberta Chapter since June 2024. With extensive experience in project coordination and management, Paresh has worked at COWI since March 2025, after serving as a Project Coordinator at Ledcor from January 2023 to March 2025, where efforts led to a 10% increase in project efficiency and a 95% on-time delivery rate. Previous roles include a Production Associate Intern at Honda of Canada Mfg., contributing to a 20% increase in production output, and Vice President of Student Services at the Graduate Students’ Association of the University of Alberta, achieving a 25% increase in student satisfaction. Paresh’s engineering background includes a senior role at Wipro and an internship at SWARAJ ENGINES LIMITED, enhancing project execution and quality engineering practices. Paresh holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from CGC College of Engineering.
