Scott Fluhrer has a long history of working in the marketing, sales and business development fields. Scott began their career in 1999 as a Business Development Manager for Despegar.com, a Latin American online travel site. During their time there, they successfully negotiated a $2 million early stage funding round with Yahoo! Inc. and led a software integration team that built cobranded travel portal sites for Yahoo! Spanish and Portuguese properties.
In 2002, Scott moved to the Wheel Line Automotive Group as the Director of Business Development. There, they grew the automotive E-commerce business by $5 million in annual sales in under 2 years and conceptualized, led development team and launched a custom-built dynamic B2C automotive E-commerce Web-fitment application.
From 2005 to 2014, Scott worked at FloristEarth LLC as the National Director of Sales & Business Development. In 2014, they joined Illusions Online FZ LLC as the VP Sales - Americas. At Illusions Online, they worked with a diverse set of customers across five continents to modernize and automate the complex task of creating, distributing and delivering dynamically packaged travel and destination activities.
In 2015, Scott moved to LugLoc as a Business Development Consultant. At LugLoc, they worked on the world's first luggage locator, which was named a "2015 Must Have Travel Accessory" and won the prestigious "Product Innovation Award" at the International Travel Goods Show in Las Vegas.
Most recently, Scott has been working at PMWeb, Inc. since 2016 as the VP Marketing. At PMWeb, they lead a dynamic marketing team that provides organizations with better collaboration, increased efficiency, and enhanced financial control over their capital construction programs and projects.
Scott Fluhrer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Willamette University. Scott has also obtained certifications from LinkedIn, including Learning Microsoft Project (February 2022), Project Portfolio Management Foundations (June 2021), Construction Industry: Techniques and Technology (May 2021), and Construction Management Foundations (December 2019).
