Johnathon Smith

Johnathon Smith is a data analyst at PNC since October 2025 and co-founder of SAR Data Analytics since June 2022. Prior to these roles, Johnathon served as a data engineer consultant at CGI from January 2022 to October 2025. Johnathon began a career in the US Navy as a nuclear machinist mate from February 2012 to January 2018, where responsibilities included operating and maintaining naval nuclear power and propulsion equipment, as well as leading a team in safe operations. Johnathon holds a Certificate of Completion in Data Science from Codeup, earned between June 2021 and December 2021, and has education from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
