Thomas Acker

Thomas Acker is an experienced professional in financial crime investigations and transaction monitoring, currently serving as a Detect & Investigations Quality Lead at PNC since May 2022, where Thomas conducts quality analysis of complex investigations and implements corrective solutions. Previously, Thomas held multiple roles at BNP Paribas, including Assistant Vice President and Team Lead, focusing on financial crime investigations and enhancing anti-money laundering (AML) risk awareness. Thomas has also worked as a Transaction Monitoring Analyst at MUFG, identifying trends related to suspicious transactions, and had earlier experience in international operations with Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Financial Support Services from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
