Michael Moyer

Michael Moyer is an experienced manager in the energy sector, currently serving as Manager of Grid Modernization at Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) since January 2005. In this role, Michael oversees distribution grid modernization and automation initiatives within the PNM electrical system. Prior positions at PNM include Manager of System Reliability and Maintenance, where Michael led a team of system engineers for distribution system upgrades and maintenance in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, and Engineering Supervisor, responsible for power solutions for commercial and industrial clients in the metro area. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, focusing on applications for peripheral computer devices and display technologies. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of New Mexico, earned in 1999.
