Jake McVey

Jake McVey has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Jake is currently working as an Image Analysis Engineer at PocDoc since 2021. Previously, they were a PhD Student in Computing Sciences at the University of East Anglia from 2018 to 2022, where they focused on developing image processing algorithms. Additionally, they also worked as an Associate Tutor during the same period. In 2017, Jake worked as an Android Developer at Broads Authority for an 8-week contract, where they co-developed an Android application. Jake started their professional career in 2014 as a Fundraiser at Home Fundraising Ltd, where they also held the role of a team-leader fundraiser, leading a team of up to 6 people in door-to-door charity fundraising.

Jake McVey began their education in 2014 at the University of East Anglia, where they studied Computer Science. Jake completed their undergraduate studies in this field in 2018. Following their degree, Jake then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD program at the same university from 2018 to 2022, focusing on Computer Vision.
