Steve Roest

Steve Roest has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Steve is the CEO and Founder of PocDoc since January 2017. Additionally, they are involved in the HealthTech industry as a Broadcaster, Content Owner, and Podcast host for HealthTech Hour since December 2020. Steve is also part of the Digital Health London NHS Accelerator Cohort 2020/21 since November 2020. Steve serves as a Sales & Commercial Mentor at Start Codon since February 2020. Steve has been recognized by UK Research and Innovation as an award winner for business-led innovation and a member of the Future Leaders Fellowship Peer Review Board since 2020. Steve is an Alumni of the BioCity HealthCare Accelerator program starting from January 2019. Prior to that, Steve worked as the Global Head of Business Development at viagogo from February 2008 to January 2019. Steve also founded eMeet Networking, London's first tech startup-focused meetup, from 2008 to 2010. Steve started their career as a Digital Media Specialist at PHD MEDIA LIMITED, and they also founded Omnicom Summer School in 2007.

Steve Roest completed their secondary education at Aylesbury Grammar School from 1996 to 2001. Following that, they pursued higher education at the University of Oxford from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a First with Distinction in Modern Languages and Linguistics.
