Rupesh Gopal

Rupesh Gopal has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Rupesh most recently served as the VP of Engineering at Pocket FM starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Engineering at Citrix from 2020 to 2023, where they led a global team of senior managers and oversaw a team of 65+ engineers. Before Citrix, Rupesh was the VP & Head of Engineering at MoveInSync from 2017 to 2020, where they expanded the engineering organization from 33 to 90+ engineers and implemented scaled agile development across multiple teams. Rupesh also has experience as a Technical Consultant at Crossover for Work from 2016 to 2017, where they worked with various clients on DevOps practices and product ownership.

Earlier in their career, Rupesh held leadership positions at Knowlarity - Cloud Communications, Myntra, Apigee (acquired by Google Cloud), and Ampelion Networks. Rupesh has extensive experience building and leading engineering teams, creating technical roadmaps, and developing platform-level services. Rupesh began their career as a System Analyst at Tech Mahindra and worked as an R&D Engineer at Agilent Technologies.

Rupesh Gopal earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bangalore University in the years 1996 to 2000. Rupesh later achieved a Master of Science in Computational Science from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 2003 to 2005.
