Co-Founder & CEO at Pocket Prep

Peter Murphy is the co-founder and CEO of Pocket Prep, a leading provider of mobile test prep solutions. Prior to Pocket Prep, Peter worked as a senior manufacturing planner at Lockheed Martin from August 2008 to January 2015. In this role, they coordinated the manufacture of advanced IDCA and focal plane assemblies to support downstream demand. Peter was also responsible for Large Format programs, major subassembly builds, and product mix alignment. In addition, they served as the manufacturing liaison for the Fixed Wing IPT and PMT lead for the Dewar Manufacturing PMT.

Under Peter's leadership, the team at Pocket Prep has released over 1,000 individual test prep titles across more than 20 different mobile platforms. The company has helped millions of students prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, and more.

Peter Murphy has a Masters of Science in Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a focus in Aerospace and Industrial Management. Peter also has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of North Florida with a focus in Operations Management. Additionally, they are certified by Lockheed Martin in Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma and by APICS in Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
