Emi Eleode has a varied work experience, beginning in 2012 as the CEO of Fashion Wear Book, a blog that follows celebrities fashion at red carpet events. In 2015, they became a Young Curator at the William Morris Gallery and a Fashion Editorial Intern at Dazed & Confused. In 2017, they were an Editorial Intern at Vogue. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Freelance Journalist for publications such as The Guardian, The Art Newspaper, AnOther magazine, The British Journal of Photography, Artsy, Industrie Africa, Crafts Council, Paper Journal Magazine, The Spill Magazine, The Culture Trip, Gallery Sorelle Sciarone, Cultured and more. Emi also founded the Instagram page Art History Talks. In 2019, they worked as a Lifestyle Assistant at Wallpaper*. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Freelance Journalist and in 2021 they worked as an Assistant at the British Film Institute (BFI). Currently, they are a Content Curator at Pocket, Mozilla's UK and International New Tab recommendations in Firefox.

Emi Eleode has a Master's Degree in Journalism from the University of the Arts London, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Media Practice from the University of Westminster from 2013 to 2016.
