Pocketful helps UK schools and PTAs raise funds easily by collecting unused foreign currency from families — without asking people to give more, only to give what they already have.

Pocketful is a not-for-profit initiative that turns forgotten foreign coins and notes into real funding for registered charities and not-for-profit organisations. Every year, billions of pounds in unused foreign currency sit idle — Pocketful transforms that waste into opportunity.

Our simple, risk-free service is designed to be low-effort for volunteers. We handle everything end-to-end, from supplying collection materials and parent communications to securely processing and converting the currency, and depositing funds directly into the charity or PTA’s bank account.

There’s no selling, no events to run, and no hidden fees — just powerful, passive fundraising that works alongside existing activities.

While widely used by schools and PTAs, Pocketful also supports charities, churches, sports clubs, and other community organisations to raise money in a practical, inclusive way.

Donations are accepted on behalf of registered charities and not-for-profit organisations only.
