Andrew Mason has over 10 years of work experience. Andrew began their career in 2011 as a Manager at Eaman Park Pool, where they were responsible for interviewing, hiring, and supervising an aquatics staff of 7 Lifeguards. In 2013, they became an Intern at Walser Technology Group, Inc., where they planned, marketed, and created various eBay auctions to generate additional revenue for the company. Andrew then worked at the J. F. Hurley YMCA as a Lifeguard in 2014, followed by the Country Club of Landfall as a Lifeguard in 2016. In the same year, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Realvolve, Inc., where they maintained and enhanced features in a large, legacy Ruby on Rails 4 application, collaborated with vendors to create a robust integration into an AI chatbot, and enhanced internal tooling with a focus on cleaning up tech debt and improving the test suite and testing practices. Andrew is currently employed as a Senior Product Engineer at Podia since 2022.
