Amy Chu

Amy Chu is an experienced professional in the fields of translation and administration, currently serving as the Registrar’s Office Supervisor – Scheduling at University Canada West since February 2022. In addition to this role, Amy has been a Subtitling Translator at Point.360 and a Translator at Asian Absolute since late 2017, specializing in marketing and medical texts. Previous positions include Certification Exam Coordinator at the Society of Translators and Interpreters of BC, Publicity and Publications Officer at St. Paul's College in Hong Kong, and event coordination for the Alberta AI Seminar with the Government of Alberta's Hong Kong Office. Amy holds a Master of Arts in Translation from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Diploma in Education from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Translation with Business from The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.
