Rick Benoit, MBA has over 40 years of diverse work experience in the financial industry. Rick started their career as a Financial Advisor at Richard B Vance & Company in 1983. After that, they worked in Internal Audit roles at Continental Illinois National Bank and Chicago Board Options Exchange. In 1987, they joined LaSalle National Bank as an AVP Commercial Banking. In 1994, they transitioned to Norwest Mortgage as a Mortgage Loan Originator, where they originated mortgage loans for residential clients.
Following their time at Norwest Mortgage, Benoit joined Old Kent Bank as a Mortgage Loan Officer from 1994 to 2000. Subsequently, they worked at Fifth Third Bank for 20 years as a Vice President in Mortgage Banking. There, they provided residential mortgage lending services and collaborated closely with Corporate & Private Bankers to support clients with professional advice.
Benoit then moved to BMO Harris Bank Hinsdale in 2014, where they served as a Vice President in Mortgage Lending until 2017. Rick specialized in purchase financing for various markets. In 2017, they joined Midwest Lending Corporation as a Vice President in Mortgage Lending, focusing on low down payment purchase mortgages, jumbo loans, and VA/FHA loans.
Currently, Benoit holds the position of Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Point Mortgage Corporation. Rick is excited about the new name and continues to provide exceptional client experiences.
Rick Benoit, MBA, has a strong educational background in business. Rick began their education at LASALLE-PERU TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL, where they completed their high school education from 1976 to 1979. Following this, they attended Illinois Valley Community College from 1980 to 1981, earning an Associate's degree in Business.
Motivated to further their education, Benoit enrolled in Illinois State University from 1981 to 1983, where they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Building upon this foundation, they then pursued an MBA in Finance at DePaul Driehaus College of Business from 1987 to 1989.
