Navigation Software Lead at Point One Navigation

Adam Shapiro has worked in the engineering field since 2007. Theirfirst role was as a Hardware Engineer Co-op at Cisco from 2007 to 2009. Adam then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell University from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2018, they were a Lead Digital/Embedded Software Engineer at MITRE, where they specialized in high performance and embedded software architecture for Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) and other signal processing applications. Adam was the software lead for a large, collaborative, multi-year effort developing advanced real-time and simulation PNT research tools. Since 2018, they have worked as a Senior Engineer at Point One Navigation.

Adam Shapiro attended Cornell University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2009 and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering in 2009.
