Matthew Simonson

Matthew Simonson is a Senior Data Scientist at Point Solutions Group, LLC, where they apply advanced mathematical modeling and machine learning to defense and space technology. Previously, they served as a Data Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, leading the development of a user-friendly data storage and analysis system. Matthew has extensive experience in machine learning and has held positions at various organizations, including Trianz and Nihilent Technologies Inc, where they successfully led multiple impactful projects. They hold a Ph.D. in Statistical Genetics from the University of Colorado Boulder and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.
