Jun Gao

Jun Gao serves as the Co-Chief Operating Officer for the APAC region at Point72 since March 2017, overseeing business functions and focusing on strategy, implementation, operations, and culture. Prior to this role, Jun Gao held positions as an International Business Operations Manager and Senior Business Analyst at Point72. Jun Gao also worked as a Portfolio Manager at Woodsford Capital Management Pte Ltd from March 2014 to March 2017, managing multiple investment strategies with approximately $90 million in assets under management. Additionally, Jun Gao has experience as a Quantitative Analyst where portfolio management systems were designed and developed, and worked as a Research Analyst at the Risk Management Institute, National University of Singapore, contributing to credit risk research initiatives. Jun Gao began a professional career as a Senior Consultant in the fintech industry at Finantix and earned both a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore.
