Scott Wey

Scott Wey is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. As the Senior Engineering Manager at Vividly from November 2021 to June 2023, Scott built a high-performance team focused on developing data pipelines using Rust and React. Scott's career includes roles at notable organizations such as Nuro, where as Tech Lead for 3D Visualization, a dedicated team and product were established, and Roam Analytics, where a machine learning platform for healthcare datasets was developed. Additionally, Scott has experience with internships at Tesla and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and a research role at the University of Southern California. Currently, Scott serves as Co-Founder and CTO at Pointable, where state-of-the-art Retrieval Augmented Generation systems are being built. Scott holds master's degrees in Global Medicine and Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from reputable institutions.
