Eric Zingeler

Eric Zingeler has worked in the software industry since 2006. Theirfirst job was as Lead QA Tester & Technical Support Specialist at Selectsoft Publishing, where they created and executed test cases for PC games and educational software, reported bugs and escalated defects to developers, and assisted customers in resolving technical issues. Eric then moved into a Technical Lead role at the same company, where they wrote NSIS installer scripts for Windows games and applications, created images and installers for OSX games and applications, and created and maintained boilerplate code used in hundreds of software titles in production. In 2014, Eric began working at PointCare as a Development Manager, where they planned, designed, and developed AngularJS and React customer client web applications, and managed active Node.js deployments. In addition to their role at PointCare, Eric also worked for himself as a Game Developer, where they did physics-based game design and development using Lua, Corona SDK, and Box2D, graphics and art design using Adobe Illustrator, and sound editing with Adobe Audition.
