Richard Libby has a diverse range of work experience. Richard started their career at Intel Corporation in 1994 as a Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer, supporting multiple server board and chassis products. Richard was responsible for handling customer issues, creating technical product documentation, and delivering product training.

In 2006, Richard joined Sandia National Laboratories as an OFA Website Administrator. Here, they were a member of the Open Fabrics Founding Company/Team and developed and administered the website.

Richard then returned to Intel Corporation in 2007 and took on multiple roles. As a Technical Evangelist/Power Technologist in the Eco-Tech Programs Office, they managed events and relationships with OEMs, IHVs, and governmental agencies. Richard also worked as a Tech Marketing Engineer and Strategic Initiatives Manager, focusing on bringing new technologies to the datacenter.

From 2012 to 2014, Richard served as a Technical Evangelist at Intel Labs. Richard was responsible for lab management and event planning and execution.

In 2015, Richard worked as a Solutions Performance Technical Engineer in Intel Corporation's Datacenter Performance Marketing team. Their responsibilities included creating benchmarking test plans, reports, and marketing collateral for new products.

Most recently, Richard has been working at PointCentral since 2017 in SmartHome Account Management. No end dates were provided for their roles at PointCentral and Richard Libby Consulting, indicating that they may still hold these positions.

Richard Libby attended the University of Phoenix from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Richard continued their education at the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2005, earning a Master of Science degree in Business Administration. In 2006, they attended Oregon Graduate Institute and completed their Master of Science in Teaching. In August 2022, Richard Libby obtained a certification in "How to Speak So People Want to Listen" from LinkedIn.
