Moss Amer

Moss Amer has a strong background in corporate development, strategy, and venture capital. Currently, Amer holds the position of Vice President of Corporate Development at PointClickCare since June 2022. Prior to this role, Amer served as a Senior Director of M&A Integration at PointClickCare from March 2022 to June 2022. Amer also worked as a Senior Director of Strategy & Corporate Development at PointClickCare from July 2019 to March 2022.

Before joining PointClickCare, Amer worked at the Maryland Venture Fund, starting as an Associate in October 2015 and leaving in July 2019. During their time at the Maryland Venture Fund, Amer played a significant role in reinventing the fund and increasing its assets under management by 50%.

Amer has also served as a Board Observer at Aledade, Inc. from January 2017 to June 2019, Fugue, Inc. from January 2016 to June 2019, StayNTouch, A Shiji Group Brand from June 2017 to September 2018, and Harpoon Medical, Inc. from April 2016 to December 2017. These positions involved observing and providing guidance to the respective companies in their operations and strategic decision-making.

Additionally, Amer worked as a Senior Analyst at TCP Venture Capital from August 2013 to October 2015, where they contributed to building a strong seed portfolio and made successful investments in various companies. They were also involved in Venture for America as a 2013 Fellow and Company Liaison from July 2013 to June 2015, where they played a significant role in expanding the organization's presence in Baltimore and establishing connections with key stakeholders.

Moss Amer attended Brown University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy & American Institutions as well as Entrepreneurship & Technology Management. Prior to that, Moss attended the Solomon Schechter High School of Long Island from 2005 to 2009.
