Omar Benhmuda

Omar Benhmuda is an Intermediate Software Engineer at PointClickCare, having progressed from a Software Engineer Co-op position within the same company. Since May 2021, Omar has contributed to the API team in a Scrum environment, developing and maintaining REST APIs using Java and the Spring framework, while also creating unit tests with JUnit and Mockito. Prior experience includes work as a Full Stack Web Developer at Western University, where Omar developed a graphical site for real-time data retrieval and implemented back-end REST APIs using Node.js and Express. Omar holds a Bachelor of Engineering Sciences in Software Engineering from Western University, earned in April 2022, and a High School Diploma from The Woodlands Secondary School, obtained in 2018.
