Mi Wang is a Senior Photonic Design Engineer at Pointcloud Inc, where they focus on photonic design. Previously, Mi worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Columbia University and spent 4.5 years in the photonics research group at Gent University, concentrating on optical filter design, synthesis, and optimization. Mi earned a Ph.D. in silicon photonics from Gent University, as well as a Master's degree in advanced optical technology from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Bachelor's degree in optoelectronic technology from Sichuan University. Mi has also gained experience at Huawei Europe and ASML, contributing to various optical modeling and design projects.
