Remus Nicolaescu

Remus Nicolaescu has worked in various roles since 2000. Remus began their career at Intel Corp as a Senior Scientist before joining Samsung Corp as a Strategist in the Office of the Chairman in 2005. From 2006 to 2008, they were a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Remus then moved to Spansion in 2008, where they served as Director of Corporate Development. In 2013, they joined Nokia in the same role. In 2016, they became Senior Director of Strategic Planning at Applied Materials. Most recently, they have been Managing Director of Pointcloud GmbH and CEO/Co-founder of Pointcloud Inc since 2017.

Remus Nicolaescu holds an MBA in Finance from INSEAD, a Ph.D. in Applied Physics - Optoelectronics/Atomic Physics from Texas A&M University, and a BSc in Physics from the University of Bucharest.
