Ege Akpinar

Ege Akpinar is the founder and CEO of Pointr. Ege has a background in research, software development, and web design. Ege has worked for companies such as Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Inveon, Creatd, Quiet Riots, CreamCoding, arabul software, and gezlong.com. Ege has been a technical lead for most of these companies and has been involved in the development of ASP.NET projects, web design, Ruby on Rails, Backbone.js, and native iPhone app development.

Ege Akpinar completed their MRes in Advanced Computing at Imperial College London. They were a special student in Artificial Intelligence at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an exchange student in Computer Engineering and Music at Boston University. They have a BS in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi University. They also have an International Baccalaureate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry from TED Ankara Koleji.
