Erik Hanson

Erik Hanson is an experienced technology executive with extensive expertise in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Points North since April 2025, Erik leads the organization’s software engineering efforts for a certified payroll and compliance software platform. Previously, Erik held leadership roles including Vice President of Product and Technology at Hello Alpha, where a strategy focused on innovation and collaboration was defined. At Icario, Erik managed significant growth during a pivotal merger, scaling the engineering team from 30 to 125 members. Other notable positions include Director of Software Engineering at Revel and vRad, and Vice President of Software Development at WAND Corporation, where leadership in technology and product management was demonstrated. Erik's educational background includes a BA in Theatre from Grinnell College and a Master's in Health Informatics from the University of Illinois Chicago.
