Basile Kuo

Basile Kuo has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Basile started their career as a Webmaster for the Committee on Student Fees at UC Berkeley in 2003. Basile then worked as a Corporate Support Specialist at Hotwire and a Front End Developer at Expedia, Inc. In 2007, Basile joined Kuomatic as a Photographer/Videographer, capturing families and food and fundraising for Freedom House SF. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at Switchfly, Inc. in different engineering roles, including Senior Front End Engineer and Engineering Manager. In 2011, Basile became a Food Entrepreneur and invented the Breakfast Basile sandwich at The Breakfast Basile. Basile also served as a Teacher of Front End Development at Quick! Teach Me, conducting crash courses and teaching HTML/CSS fundamentals. In 2016, Basile joined Points as the Director of Engineering. Their most recent role was as the Creative Director at Christ Central SF from 2017 to 2019.

Basile Kuo attended Santa Monica College from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Computer Science. Following this, Basile Kuo pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies Field at the University of California, Berkeley from 2002 to 2004.
