Jane Helman

Jane Helman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jane started their career as a Customs Inspector at Canada Customs and Revenue Agency in 2000. After that, they worked at BMC Software as an Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer and later as a Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer from 2005 to 2007. Jane then joined Actuate, Performance Management Group as a QA Engineer from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they worked at Longview Solutions as a Project Manager and later as a Quality Engineering Manager from 2009 to 2016. Currently, Jane is working at Points as the VP of Product Innovation and Growth since August 2020. Prior to this role, they held positions at Points as a Director of Product Management, Director of Scrum and Software Project Management, and Manager of Scrum and Software Project Management. Jane'sextensive experience in various roles demonstrates their expertise in product innovation, project management, quality assurance, and customs inspection.

Jane Helman earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, completing their studies from 1999 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. These certifications include: Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in June 2013, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in June 2016, Certified Scrum Professional™-ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in October 2017, Certified Scrum Professional™-Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in October 2017, and Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap from LinkedIn, earned in February 2018.
