Violet Czaplinska

Violet Czaplinska has extensive work experience in data science, analytics, and market research. Violet currently holds the position of VP, Data Science and Analytics at Plusgrade, which they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Points (a Plusgrade company) as the VP, Data Science and Analytics. Violet also served as the Director of Analytics & Insights at Points from 2019 to 2023.

Before joining Points, Violet was the Director of Risk and Analytics at Thinking Capital, where they led a team responsible for internal analytics and modeling. Their role involved building credit risk models, developing lending strategies, and supporting various teams in the company. Violet worked at Thinking Capital from 2018 to 2019.

From 2014 to 2017, Violet was the Director of Data Science and Market Research at LoyaltyOne - Airmiles. In this role, they led a team of Data Scientists and Market Researchers, developing analytical solutions for various industries and building relationships with clients.

Prior to LoyaltyOne, Violet worked at Precima as an Associate Director, Consulting and Analytics from 2010 to 2014. Violet started their career at LoyaltyOne as a Senior Statistician in 1998, where they worked until 2010.

Violet Czaplinska pursued their education at McMaster University from 1990 to 1996. During this time, they obtained a Master's degree in Statistics, specializing in this field of study.
