Alison Chyan is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and video game law. Since January 2019, Alison has been serving as Manager and Senior Corporate Counsel at The Pokémon Company International, focusing on IP and video games/apps. Previously, Alison worked as an Associate Attorney at Focal PLLC from August 2015 to December 2018, and held various legal positions, including Legal Extern at the United States Attorney's Office and Judicial Extern for the Honorable Richard A. Jones at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Alison began the legal career as a Legal Intern at HTC and has also served as a tutor for student-athletes at the University of Washington. Alison holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington.
