Senior Software Engineer at The Pokémon Company International

Ben Elliott's work experience begins in 2005 as a Senior System Administrator at the Berglund Center for Internet Studies. Ben manages servers and workstations, as well as experiments with and deploys new internet-based technologies. In 2007, they take on a role as a Technical Intern at Clean Water Services, where they refactor, documents, and develops multiple projects using C# and ASP.NET.

In 2008, Ben joins Pacific University as a Web Developer. In this role, they work both independently and as part of a team, meeting with end users to gather project requirements and developing web applications for production use. Ben also takes on a temporary role as a Student Volunteer at the university's sustainable farm, assisting with various farm duties and implementing sustainable agricultural practices.

Moving forward to 2011, Ben becomes a Software Engineer at The Anritsu Company. Here, they develop and maintains customer-facing Windows and web applications, primarily using C#, VB.Net, and ASP.Net. Their work supports the company's handheld and bench-top RF instruments.

In 2019, Ben joins Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, contributing to software development projects. Finally, in 2020, they transition to their current role as a Senior Software Engineer at The Pokémon Company International.

Ben Elliott completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Math from Pacific University in 2008. Afterward, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Santa Clara University between the years 2014 and 2017.
